This class will accommodate all fitness levels and dance experience is not necessary.
Beginner Belly Dance

In the exciting, Cairo-style Belly Dance, students learn basic-to-advanced techniques. This class focuses on hip movements, correcting body alignment to develop beautiful technique, and arm positions for a good foundation.
1940s Swing

Lindy Hop and Charleston are the original swing dances from the 1920s, 30s, and 40s.
This series is for those who are proficient in the basics of Lindy Hop and Charleston and builds on the basic techniques. We will also focus on musicality and social dance etiquette.
Intermediate Tango
Wednesdays, 5:30 PM
In this block of classes, we will explore open and closed embrace and focus on navigation, corners, and movements that flow in the milonga line of dance. We will work on communication through walking and ochos in the cross body position, and introduce Molinetes and Boleos. We will begin combining these and previously studied figures.
Beginner Tango
Wednesdays, 6:40 PM
The classes will focus on connection, communication between lead and follow, "milonga" walking patterns, and musicality. Students will learn two fundamental patterns. Our goal is for students to complete this 6-part session feeling like they have a solid grasp of Tango fundamentals, and are eager and ready to continue towards complex figures introduced in the following session.
Burlesque

This 6-week class will pay homage to a variety of burlesque styles and tricks of the trade. Learn classic moves, how to tell a story through movement, improve on burlesque skills, and build confidence in yourself as a performer.
Intro West Coast Swing

Classes cover the fundamentals of West Coast Swing, starting from a walk. We will explore the structure, music, and core 6-count steps to get you moving to your favourite pop, blues, or 4/4 time music.

The first three Saturdays of each month are drop in. Subsequent Saturdays are review and require attendance at a previous session.
